Ergonomic Operation
The enclosed track profiles of the Met-Track crane create an ergonomic design that requires only 1% of the load force to move a suspended workpiece, making Met-Track cranes up to three times easier to maneuver than traditional bridge cranes. The steel track construction delivers high strength with low weight, combining the running track profile with integrated reinforcements to significantly increase span distances. A V-shaped running track profile maintains precise alignment of the trolleys and end trucks while preventing dirt buildup inside the track. Machined wheels with crowned treads and precision sealed bearings provide minimal rolling resistance and extended service life.
Modular Design
The Met-Track pre-engineered modular design allows for easy relocation and future expansion by simply adding runway sections and/or additional bridges. Track sections are connected using splice joints with vertical and horizontal adjustment screws, enabling precise alignment during installation. Floor-mounted systems can be installed on any standard 6-inch reinforced concrete floor. For ceiling-mounted cranes, professional evaluation is recommended to confirm the building structure can safely support the forces generated by the workstation system.
