A vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC) is a material-lift solution to safely and efficiently move goods vertically between floors or levels in distribution centers, warehouses, storage and manufacturing facilities, factories, and more.

Our mechanical & hydraulic VRC lifts are designed to safely and reliably transport medium and heavy loads between mezzanines, balconies, basements, decks, and multi-level production lines while increasing overall productivity.

Because space is always at a premium, a vertical reciprocating conveyor (CRV) can help your business become leaner and operate safer and more efficiently. A VRC lift is cheaper to install, operate, and maintain than both forklifts and elevators. Because they have a smaller footprint than an elevator, you will have more building space for more cost-effective uses. Also, VRC lifts are designed to transport materials only and not passengers, which makes them a safer solution than forklifts or manpower for moving goods vertically.

VRC Classifications and Features

Advanced Equipment Company offers two different classifications of VRC lifts depending on your application.

Hydraulic VRC lifts are designed for single-level (ground plus one) material movement at moderate cycle rates and include the following features:

Lift capacity up to 4,000 pounds
Lift height up to 19 feet
Lift speed of 20 fpm (feet per minute)
Platform size up to 8-feet wide by 12-feet long
Loading configuration options include straddle, 4-post, and cantilever type lifts

Redundant overload protection
Safety features, including prevention of VRC from moving if gate is not completely closed
Quality brand-name electrical components, including patented jam protection
Industrial strength carriage platform to handle heavy point loads

Mechanical VRC lifts for designed for multi-level applications material movement at faster speeds and high-cycle rates and include the following features:

Lift capacity up to 30,000 pounds
Lift height up to 150 feet
Standard lift speed of 28 fpm with faster speeds available
Platform size up to 12-feet wide by-30 feet long
Loading configuration options include straddle, 4-post, and cantilever type lifts

Self-diagnostic control system on multi-level units
Instantaneous overload protection
Quality brand-name electrical components, including patented jam protection
Industrial strength carriage platform to handle heavy point loads
